"Let yourself be silently drawn by the strange pull of what you really love. It will not lead you astray".

- Rumi

Hi, I am Ninin! I am a creative problem-solver with a passion for creating user-focused products that are simple and aesthetically pleasing.

With a combined 10+ year experience in Foreign Affairs and Graphic Design, I bring to the table a unique background that has equipped me with skills that are beneficial in a UX/UI career.

My experience in Foreign Affairs coupled with my work as a freelance Graphic Designer has developed in me a global mindset, diverse experience working with different clients and projects, deep understanding of diversity and multiculturalism, and a profound understanding of a type of work that goes beyond personal advancement-- of work that is not about you but of another person --and, of work, that is truly impactful and significant.

My peers describe me as a kind, reliable, and hardworking team member. Innately empathic and curious in nature, I show up to every project with an open mind, willingness to listen, learn, and collaborate. My design philosophy is summed up by this quote by Don Draper --

"Make it simple, but significant."

As I transition into the field of UX/UI Design, I am seeking opportunities that will allow me to leverage my unique background to create more and do more to make a positive impact in every person's life.

As cliche as it may sound, I am here because I followed my heart.

My journey as a Designer began a few years ago when I decided to leave my 8-year career in Foreign Affairs, move to a different country, and marry the love of my life.

Fast forward to today, my husband and 3-year old daughter keeps me on my toes and inspires me in every way.

When I'm not designing, you can find me doing arts and crafts, learning a new skill, DIY-ing home decor and improvements, landscaping our garden, harvesting tomatoes in our backyard or by default, in front of the tv binge-watching Kdramas.
